The American actress Melissa Rauch is well-known for playing the adorable microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz in the hit TV sitcom The Big Bang Theory. The series initially credited her as a guest star for the first three seasons, but she became part of the regular cast since the fourth season.
One of Bernadette’s most recognizable features in the show was her voice. The talented voice actor can make Bernadette sound sweet and sexy one moment, then eerie and ranting the next. Unsurprisingly, her character’s vocal sounds are incredibly different from her real one.
Bernadette presents herself as quite ditzy on the show, but there is no denying Melissa Rauch has excellent proportions. If you look past the glasses and conservative cardigans, you will notice her generous boobs. A quick search online would show her amazing curves and hourglass figure.
No wonder she graced the covers of popular magazines like FHM and Maxim. Her dominatrix-inspired photoshoot raised some eyebrows for being too hot to handle, and you will see Bernadette in a different light right after. She rarely shows much skin like wearing a bikini, but her pictures will undoubtedly leave you wanting more of that bountiful ass.
Melissa Rauch has several voice-acting gigs to her name. Her repertoire includes Fairy Tizzy in Sofia the First, The Wasp in Marvel’s Ant-man, and Shira on Black Monday. She also voiced Harley Quinn in the 2017 animated superhero film, Batman and Harley Quinn. The variety among the characters shows how accomplished a voice actor she is.
Her other acting credits include 12 Miles of Bad Road, Kath & Kim, The Office, and True Blood. In the latter, she had a recurring role for six episodes as a girl who liked one of the human characters, Hoyt Fortenberry.
Her husband, Winston Beigel, is a writer and director. They met while in college and worked together on a few projects. Interestingly, he took her last name when they got married in 2007 and now goes by Winston Rauch. They currently have one child, Sadie.
Melissa Rauch confessed that she wanted to perform since she was young and thus participated in all the high school plays. While studying at Marymount Manhattan College, she worked as a waitress in restaurants and bars.
She also did stand-up comedy in several small clubs and bars in New York City, one of which is Hamburger Harry’s. This restaurant is where Zach Galifianakis also had his first stage as a comedian. We are looking forward to seeing more of Melissa Rauch in future shows. Whether she sticks to funny and humorous sitcoms or decides to explore a different genre, she is sure to surprise the audience in positive ways.
