The sexy model and actress Jolene Blalock’s take on the Star Trek character T’Pol is perhaps one of the best. Now with three children, the former model still maintains her hot figure, as well as her personality.
Hailing from California, Blalock was raised by her parents alongside her siblings. She recalled that her childhood isn’t the best because of her shy nature. Blalock also stated in one interview that she never had any friends while growing up.
Blalock found solace and enjoyment in learning how to surf and honing her skills that mostly involve arts.
Blalock decided for herself that she will pursue a career for modeling, and at the age of 17, she left California. She was able to appear in many magazines and publications from different continents, but mostly in Europe and Asia.
From 2003 to 2005, Blalock managed to land photoshoots and projects with magazines like FHM, Playboy, and Maxim. After several years of a successful modeling career, Blalock decided to transition into acting. According to her, modeling isn’t easy, and it involves too much dieting to maintain a bikini body.
Blalock started small, like her debut in Veronica’s Closet. Her debut has to lead her to have several appearances in TV series as well, including CSI, JAG, and Love Boat.
Blalock had her debut film appearance in the movie Jason and the Argonauts, which premiered in 2000. In the film, she played as Medea, and although a minor role, it allowed her to gain more publicity, and therefore achieving the opportunity to star in more films.
In the year 2001, Blalock had two appearances in the film On the Edge and The Diamond hunters.
The Star Trek: Enterprise role of Blalock completely changed her career and has given her popularity. Her recurring role lasted for over four years.
Blalock continued to star in more films, which includes Slow Burn, a 2007 movie that started recording in the year 2003.
She also appeared in two episodes of the series Stargate SG-1. Aside from that, Blalock was supposed to be in the famous TV series Lost; however, due to some reasons, her scenes never made it to the final product.
In 2008, Blalock gained another role for the sci-fi film Starship Troopers 3: Marauder. The next year, she scored an appearance in the medical series, House. In 2009 as well, Blalock appeared in Legend of the Seeker’s second season as Sister Nicci.
From 2010-2014, Blalock appeared in more films, which include Sinners and Saints, One Kine Day, Troubled Teen, Sex Tape, and Killing Frisco.
Her last work was in the 2017 film, A Man for Every Month where she took the role of Brenda.
