Hailing from Rome, Italy, Giada Pamela De Laurentiis already showed an early affinity with cooking. Her parents went through a divorce, and after some time, they moved to Southern California.
Laurentiis continued her education and finally graduated from the University of California. Afterward, she decided to return to her roots to pursue a career as a pastry chef. Laurentiis attended Le Cordon Bleu. Her studied paid off entirely well, and she later moved back to the United States to work in Los Angeles.
She then became a part of the restaurant Spago. After that, Laurentiis made a debut in her TV show in Food Network’s 2003 Everyday Italian.
In 2006, she received another project titled Behind the Bash. The next year, Laurentiis made a comeback in Food Network on her show Giada’s Weekend Getaways. Here, she traveled across different locations with an intent only as a visitor.
More things happened for her 2007 when Laurentiis became the host of Food Network Awards. She also appeared in Giada in Paradise and The Next Food Network Star. The latter would also bring her an award in 2008 for the category of Outstanding Lifestyle Host given by Daytime Emmy Emmy Awards.

The same year of her restaurant launch, Laurentiis became part of the voice acting cast of Pixie Hollow Bake Off, where she got the role of Gelata. She lends her voice to her character in the 2018 movie Scooby-Doo! And the Gourmet Ghost.
