Fishel originated in Mesa, Arizona, but after several weeks of her birth, the Fishel family decided to move to Yorba Linda, California. Here, she grew up with her brother and parents.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, Fishel received several recognitions, including an award for her performance in a TV series. Fishel also appeared in several popular magazines that also praised her emerging success as a young actress.
Her popularity in Boy Meets World also aided her to land in a role in the film National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze. After that, she appeared on the film’s sequel, which premiered in 2006. Fishel also appeared in Gamebox 1.0, and an animated movie The Chosen One.
Fishel showcased her secrets to staying sexy on a 2006 episode of Tyra Banks Show.
A spin-off or a sequel of Boy Meets World premiered on Disney in 2014 titled Girl Meets World. Here, Fishel portrayed her recent role once again, which helped the show to become a nostalgic hit.
Fishel is also capable of doing hosting, which is evident when she became one in The Dish. She also appeared in PopSugar and PopSugar Girls Guide, a show on Youtube as a reporter.
