April Bowlby was a native of Vallejo, California, USA, born on July 30, 1980. The Bowlby family moved to Manteca, California, and settled there. Before pursuing her acting career, she studied marine biology, French and ballet at Moorpark College. Under the guidance of the renowned Ivana Chubbuck, she studied drama and eventually got the job to play the role of Kandi in her first major TV series, the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men (2003). Luckily for us, the 39-year-old sexy bombshell is single, as seen in her Instagram posts. She is high on life and a bookworm, which made her even sexier.
Bowlby got her role as Kandi within the first few months after auditioning. If you’re a fan of the show, you’d see how hot Bowlby is. The most memorable moment of Two and A Half Men with her would be the time when she described how different the sex is between Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) and her brother while wearing a bikini which highlighted her figure and her perky boobs. Her humor and hotness combined made the CBS sitcom a whole lot of fun. She also played as Meg, the obsessive ex-girlfriend of Barney Stinson in the hit TV series How I Met Your Mother. Additionally, she made appearances in several more shows such as CSI, CSI: NY, and Psych. Her movie appearances include All Roads Lead Home (2008) and From Prada to Nada (2011). She’s also acting in DC Universe’s shows: Doom Patrol as Elasti-Girl and Titans as Rita Farr.
Her personal life is incredibly fascinating. April Bowlby, together with Jo Bozarth, started a podcast called 75 Reads. They read the books that inspiring individuals read, with Season One beginning with David Bowie’s book list. A new episode is uploaded every other week, and reviews about each book get two episodes. This podcast filled with laughter, tears, and insights into David Bowie’s genius.
What makes April Bowlby so unique? She’s beauty and brains. A natural redhead with blue eyes and an ass to die for. Being a book lover, she has turned her smarts on, and her intelligence is beautiful. April isn’t even close to her persona in Two and A Half Man, but in real life, she’s matured and well-read. What’s interesting is that the more you look at her, the more you realize how masterpiece of a woman she is, and the more she talks, the more you realize how attractive this chick is.
April Bowlby is beauty and brains. A class act, a woman who can woo you with her looks but stun you harder with how her mind works. The sayings are correct, don’t judge the book by its cover.
