Born August 9, 1991, Alexis Kaufman spent her life getting involved with sports. Screen named Alexa Bliss, the little girl from Columbus, Ohio became a cheerleader at her high school and spent most of her time competing in sports like track and field, kickboxing, and softball. However, she suffered an eating disorder at the age of 15, which made her turn more to a better fitness routine to overcome it.
Her wrestling career started in 2013 when she signed with WWE and made her first TV appearance when she congratulated Paige as the champion of NXT Women’s Champion. She later made the main roster at the WrestleMania XXX in April 2014 when she was part of Triple H’s entrance performance.
On March 11, 2015, Alexis returned to the limelight after a legitimate injury. She defeated Carmella at that event and later defeated Sasha Banks in the next NXT Women’s Champion. Then in 2016, Bliss got a draft with the SmackDown brand. She defeated Becky Lynch at the SmackDown Live. Then, on a TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs episode on December 4, 2016, she defeated Lynch again in a table match.
Bliss got a draft with Raw in 2017 as part of the Superstar Shake-Up. She won the match with Bayley and even won again at the Payback, making Bliss the first woman to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She also made it as the first woman to win the Raw Women’s Championship.
Due to a head concussion that Alexa Bliss got from her match with Rhonda Rousey at the Hell in the Cell event, she got pulled out of the WWE Evolution. She then revealed in an interview that she would be resting from the incident. However, a few weeks later, she became the team captain of the Raw Team but did not participate in the wrestling match.
Recently, she got a partnership with Nikki Cross for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and won the match. Aside from being fond of wrestling, Bliss is also a Disney fan since she was three.
