Leslie Jean Mann is a sexy American actress. Born on March 26, 1972, Mann grew up in Newport Beach as a shy, pent-up youth. She attended Corona del Mar High School. After high school, Mann went to Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Acting Studio. She was a classmate to the comedy troupe The Groundlings. Mann went to college but stopped before graduating.
Mann was eighteen when she started her acting career and appeared in T.V. commercials. She played various roles in different shows and films. In 1996, Mann played a part in The Cable Guy, Freaks & Geeks, George of The Jungle (co-starring Brendan Fraser), and Big Daddy (co-starring Adam Sandler). Mann starred in The Bling Ring, released in 2013. The following year, Mann narrated an episode in Makers: Women Who Make America.
Mann is one of the few celebrities whose married life remained in the union after decades. She married Judd Apatow in 1997. Mann met the director while auditioning for a film (The Cable Guy). The couple supports 826LA, an organization that encourages disadvantaged youth to develop their writing skills.
Also, Mann and husband Apatow have philanthropic contributions to the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program. The two received recognition for their generosity.
