The sexy American actress Charisma Carpenter is famous for her character portrayals in The Lying Game and the Expandable film series as well.
Carpenter grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since nine, she already got exposed to the performing industry after being involved in Las Vegas Alley performances. Carpenter also enrolled for a high school program at Bishop Gorman High School.
Her family decided to go to Mexico when she reached 15 and eventually moving to California. After wrapping up her studies, Carpenters chose to become independent and flew to Europe.
While at work as a waitress, Carpenter was seen by a talent agent and offered her projects, including stage plays and advertisement campaigns. With her hot bikini body, Carpenter was able to debut on screen in a 1994 episode of the series Baywatch. It leads to another TV show appearance in Malibu Stories that airs on NBC.
Two years later, Carpenters starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer as Cordelia Chase, although she’s aiming for the lead role at first when she auditioned. But with her performance, she took the part of Cordelia Chase in Angels, a spin-off production of the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer series. She continued acting for the role which lasted for almost four seasons, but she eventually came back in season five to wrap up the character’s arc.
From 2004 to 2008, Carpenters successfully lands on projects such as series, movies, and direct-to-television films. Her career continued to roll when she appeared for a supporting role in the Expendables in 2010. That same year, she also appeared in the movie Human Factor and Crash Site.
In 2011, Psychosis premiered in theaters, which already had an announcement of being in development as early as 2009. That same year as well, Carpenter scored an appearance in the popular TV show Supernatural’s 7th season.
In 2012, Carpenter secured a recurring role in The Lying Game that premiered in ABC. She got a promotion shortly to play as a leading role in the series’ second season. Aside from that, she returned in the second installment of the Expendables that year.
Carpenter had the chance to become the host of Investigation Discovery’s Surviving Evil starting in 2013. Two years later, she starred with Morgan Obenreder in the film bound, which gained decent scores in terms of commercial success and viewership. Later on, she would star in the TV film Mommy’s Secret.
Carpenter’s recent TV projects starting 2017 include Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, 9-1-1, No Good Nick, and Pandora.
