i like mine better...but i gotcha now.
you use a camera wich takes a REALLY long time to take the photo so you can move around and the photo will show your movement, and the same thing happens with light, just more noticable
you don't do that to take pics of the northen lights!

cuz i've taken pictures of the northen lights (i live in Iceland, duuh) and i never do that XD

I've actually done this in my photography class granted it's not done well but all you have to do is turn down the shutter speed on your camera and run lights past the soon to be image.
