SpaceX just had the first successful commercial launch and recovery of a rocket and capsule meant to one day (soon) carry both cargo and astronauts, and they're planning on offering the first commercial suborbital space flights by 2012 for $200,000 a seat.
Estimates are that, with competition from other companies, prices and costs could drop low enough to offer daily shuttle service to space by 2020 or so.
Looking forward to it. :D
