I prefer the PS3 for a number of reasons
1. Less whining/singing little bitches! (major point)
2. Better controller
3. Free online
4. Blu-Ray player
5. Less breakdowns
6. All my mates have traded their 360's in for PS3's

PS this entire message was typed on my PS3. i would love for all the xbox fan boys to get on their internet browsers that are built into the xbox and post a reply.
a blu ray/dvd player,
web browser,
the ps3 has exlcusives to,
the graphics are the same resolution 720p or 1080p,
connectivity between psp and ps3,
connect ur ipod and copy the music to ur ps3,
the list goes on.
The ONLY thing the xbox has over the ps3 is the controllers, except for the analogue sticks.
But thats just my opinion, really it's r money so ur choice.

Plus i think the console looks better and if you were to by a blu-ray player on its own that waould set you back over half the cost of the actual ps3. So overall the ps3 is a much better console all round.

PCs are easy to maintain and keep bug free if you're smart not that Im saying you arn't but it doesnt take much. But the way game systems are going, soon they will have that crap too. With internet browsing, downloading, blah blah.
One major point for the PC, you can't access sharenator on the 360 or PS3.

yea u may have free online play and blueray for ur little ps3, but XBL is only $5 a month and thenetwork doesnt suck compared to PSO. as for blue rays, yea they are better but if i want to watch a movie a DVD works fine for me on my 360. Also xbox has the dashboard which is just like ps3 home( if im not mistaken) Also single counsle games for 360 imo are better overall with GoW, halo, and others including my favorite Saints Row 1&2(which make GTA series look like a turd). I do have to give some credit though the ps3 has some ok series games that i would want to play like uncharted 1&2 but thats all i can say about the ps3..... 360 4life -- xbl gtag -- Ng Communism -- add me to play some MW2
Plus BBC iPlayer the web browser has a dedicated youtube site and much more than I care to mention!
As i say I own both a 360 and a PS3 the 360 hasn't had a look in since the PS3 arrived the graphics are so much more crisp and smooth at 1080p!
These threads just seems to be full of XBOX Fanboys that haven't even touched a PS3 and therefore are are not worthy of pushing their one sided opinions in everybodies faces!
You Fanboys do seem to be a little immature and I would like you all to stay on your 360's and leave the PS3 free of whining, whinging and stupid singing in lobbies.
If you are a mature individual go for the PS3.
If you are still in schooling and like to beat up on little kids go for the XBOX.
Go for PS3 if you are so immature you can't mute the annoying people. You can't even hear people if you are in Party Chat, so that's really a non-issue, provided you have friends. Obviously none of you complaining about this issue have played XBOX, or you would know how easy of a fix it is.

Good exclusives, whether your a hater or not of the game halo has got a big collection of players, and reach is set to be one of the most anticipated game of the year, i am not one of the fans. Microsoft set a contract with Activision producers of the Call of Duty games, that all Future DLC's of their games will come earlier or exclusively to Xbox live
Their consoles are cheap compared to the PS3, and there latest model the Xbox 360 slim, and i have been told by friends who have bought it it runs smoothly with no faults, quiet, and with kinect ready, and the price is the same of the old model too.
Red ring of death, i have had this once in my lifetime, so i guess it depends on who you buy it from, where you place your Xbox and your luck.
In my opinion the Xbox controller is well designed to fit your hands and styles of playing.
If i have left any out, I can't remember them. Feel free to debate and correct.
Personal opinion, I currently am my Xbox 360 and my brother seems to be wanting to play more on the 360 than the PS3. as most of the people i know who bought a PS3 have sold theirs to revert back to the 360.
Good games to play on the 360 - Battlefield Bad company 2, Halo 3 and soon to be Reach, GTA IV, Not CoD MW2 because it is a poor excuse for a realistic shooter.
Good Games to play for the PS3 - Uncharted, Killzone, God of war 3, Red dead redemption. i hear MAG is good, but from the looks of it on you tube doesn't seem all that.
Feel free to debate and talk as i would like the discussion, so in my opinion, i would buy a Xbox 360, but the PS3 is still a equal console.

4. The only reason playstation oesnt have halo is because x-box was first and is now monopolizing the game because without it x-box fans have nothing great enough to fall back on and compensate for their shitty controllers, bad graphics, and the fact that they rape people for online play.
Then players are left with comparing one game, between the 2 consoles. Any guesses on what game? well done! of course, its CoD. Its what your fucking used to, this argument is invalid. im probs the only Xbox owner on here to admit it, but the xbox360 has its flaws. But overall, its just nicer. And im sorry but ps3 controllers? Bullshit. its a ps2 controller ffs. its like the designer for the ps3 contoller was sat there banging his head against the desk like a retarded chimp for 14weeks, only to say "Fuck this. im going home. use the old one, you pricks".

1) there is a larger variety of games and gametypes for different people
2) the network is more reliable( which is probably why we have to pay for it :p)
3) i like the controller much better( i had a PS2 and im pretty sure the controllers ore the same as PS3?)
people might say that im a microsoft fanboy because i had a legit 50 in halo and a sponsorship for MW2, but then again its your decision, go for the xbox, and if you do, add me! :D
