you obviously happened on a nice straight course or your full of shit.
hand eye is just part of it. the rate of ascent/descent are different, also you can't actually fly straight, i've had one with the hole acually not big enough to fit thru unless it could fly perfectly straight, after only a few hundred feet, and some where i loped along more than a thousand without much trouble.
