although in some cases the children are not allowed to think about other ideas, and that technically speaking is brainwashing.
But in most cases the children are allowed to grow up and make their own choice. I was brought up a practising christian family and I have since learned the truth about such things.

I agree the point is not whether the letters are real and it is to remind us of how innocent and (in your own words) UNTAINTED our minds were when we were children. So innocent that we felt free to ask REAL discerning questions about "GOD". As we grow older we are taught to accept the nonsense and stop questioning the "GOD" ideals. But that is just plain wrong. I Hope that you can find the truth before the truth finds you. Because the only way to know the truth is to go out and look for it, and not to simply accept the words of the bible. Which by the way... were written by men.

People go to church to take their drugs.... "GOD" is a drug. It is addictive and it causes false happiness just like heroin and cocaine do.

Ok FOOL.... Where is your proof that heaven is real...? and dont say the bible because that was written by men. Lunatics who claimed that they had been spoken to by the elusive "GOD". There is no evidence of a heaven or a hell....and believe it or not there is no evidence of a mysterious "GOD" either. It is not up to me to decide how you spend your life but you must know that you are wasting it away by obeying the rules written by men....Not "GOD"
