Garageband(mac program for recording, mixing music etc) can be easily replaced by Sequel (same difference of Garageband). And the recording part is really all about what programs and microphone you use to record.

Oh, where do i start. For one thing, most of the time Macs cannot support third party software. As in, programs that are not built for a mac, will never be on a mac. This can include popular programs such as Audacity, PowerISO, Project64 and so on.
Another reason is price. My computer is fairly up to date, sporting 2.0 ghz intel duo T6400 processor and chipset, 768*1366 screen, and 4 gigabyte DDR2 RAM, all purchased at less than $600 Canadian. The Mac equivalent of my computer is, I shit you not, $2,600 Canadian, and the only thing better is that it is HALF AN INCH SLIMMER. BIG FUCKING WHOOP. Another thing, is that many people like to brag about how sleek and stylish their Mac is. Look at Alienware (High end PC gaming computer) to see something really sleek and stylish. ANother thing is gaming. No serious PC gamer in their right mind would ever have to own a mac, because games rarely ever come out for it, and they always come out much later than the Pc release. That, my friend, is why you should never own a mac.
