now i no every religious person thinks god is almighty and that my subject is completely and utterly ignorant and not supported. think about it tho

the war in iraq, what caused it? religion, basically one religion saying that its better than the other religion. without religion almost every single war on that has so far occured (excluding WWI and WWII) because of religion.

also building on the original cause of this comment, the spread of AIDS/HIV, in africa and south africa when aids was a new and reletively unknown thing, Missionarys where sent over there Claiming that God hated them if they used a condom, at the time it was a well known and publicised fact that condoms helped prevent the spread of aids, millions could have ben save but were mislead and now millions more will die.

the catholic church sends out ad campaigns asking people to support the needy, the catholic churches are notoriously known to be extravegant and also extremely valuable, if a church and the religious items held in it millions could b raised to send to starving children, after all if god is everywhere why does he need mulit-million dollar chapels to hear you pray, why not have a simple, purpose-built budget church.

The bible has taught many social flaws such as homophobia, rascism and sexism. these all stem from the teachings of the bible and promote hate crimes and death. homosexuals are not evil, black people are not unequal and women are not supposed to stay home and look after their man if thats not wat they want.

anyway after all that i would like to say that these childrens letters did bring smile 2 my face and really its not brainwashing these kids, they have simply been brought up in a different way to others, if they have been brainwashed then ppl who dont believe in religions or even down to people who have grown up and lived in the country/city have been brainwashed.
