Shyea! You're the 2nd person I know of on Sharenator that knows of Primus and the 4th person ever, so it's pretty awesome for me. And I agree, they're full of win and whatnot.
"Full of win" is correct, my friend. Believe it or not, I found them through my parent's. I played one song, and I was like, "WOAH!" And here we are.
Haha, it's sort of the opposite with me. I got my parents into Primus xD My brother-in-law showed me their '94 Woodstock concert and I didn't really like it at first, but once I started playing bass I thought they were the coolest thing ever.
I play bass! Well, sorta. I'm learning how to, slowly. I play a few things, only parts of songs and what I've made up, though :/ But honestly, the bass is the best instrument ever!
Isn't it though?! But hey, you have to start somewhere. I was pretty much in the same place until I started a band. That helped me get way better a lot faster. But I think it's awesome that you play bass. Most people where I live only want to play guitar >.>
Duuuuude. Right? The bass is getting way more popular though, thank god! I've met a few people who play bass, but everyone plays guitar... :l I tell people, "Oh yeah, I play bass." and they say, "BASS?! WHAT?! :O"
I get the same thing too. Only problem is that where I live everyone only likes country and gangsta rap. So it was kinda tough finding a band to play in. But once I found the right scene, I was getting offers left and right (cuz you know, bassists are pretty rare where I live).

Yea its kinda amusing to watch people try to drive on icy roads then when they call us out because they had an accident all you can do is facepalm

Well I live in the south don't have to worry about that too much but watching southerners drive on icy roads is even funnier i think.
i grew up in places like montana and idaho so i know how to drive on ice.
