iPod if its a classic or and iTouch. Why? The classic was original, Zune was just Microsoft's attempt to beat it. And for the iTouch, the number of apps reach epic.

    iPod Touch.

Apple's motto: "Wherever you want to go today is easily accessible."

Microsoft's motto: "This is where you're going today.... unless you like me crashing."

I think you'll find that Microsoft makes software, not computers, so how is it that Apple "copied" these non-existent Microsoft computers? And Mac OS is WAY different (and better) than Windows. It doesn't just look better; it is better. :)

OMG Ertrov, we might be fanatic in the same regard?!

My uncle was the head of the development team for quicktime, and has been at Apple for years, so.... I'm a mac guy.

Actually, Kradon, much of what Microsoft has that actually works is borrowed from Apple. Including the idea of icons. Yeah, that was apple. So was being able to download something while doing something else on a computer. So was video game collaboration with Bungie actually (halo was originally going to be for Mac until Microsoft stopped all production by buying out the entire Bungie company....). So was Widgets (Gadgets on Microsoft), the Music Player market.... Apple even had a video game system before Microsoft (not that it was any good.

What did Apple copy again? : P.

That's not true at all. Quite a few factors account for what gets bought by consumers. Microsoft, yes, got lucky. But that doesn't mean anything about Apple's superiority. That depends on fact.

As in the "firsts" I gave. And that Apple actually provides hardware to be purchased. And that their computers have a much longer life, have won in virtually every survey of customer satisfaction and customer service, and don't have the BSOD.

I Wholeheartedly disagree... iTunes is a pain in the ass... Its super annoying having the same artist catagorized 3 different times because of one letter not being capatalized in the Artist name (Do I really need 4 different lists of Bloc Party?). With Zune, you just have the song on your computer, the program automatically adds it to the zune catolog, and instantly gives it the correct name, song name, and album picture.

I personally like the ipod better. But you have to get an itouch or iPhone.

iPod is the only good thing that apple has ever produced. Everything else is pretty much copied from microsoft and then warped and twisted to make it look "better"

Devin I was actually thinking of you when I made this post(no homo) cause I remember in Taylor's class you told me never to buy an iPod and to get a Zune. I was honestly hoping someone would take you side.

Why bash on the rest of Apple products when they are clearly superior? : P.

But if it is superior why is it not the most popular?

I'm an iPod person, though iTunes really annoys me because you cant play songs you buy on other computers without the password so if my friend gives me music and its from itunes, Im fucked

Unless you convert it to another format, using iTunes itself : ).

But if it was that much better it would be purchased more

And the main reason it's not bought as much is the price. Awesomeness don't come cheap.

The ONLY thing IPod Touch has over the Zune HD are the apps. Every thing else on the Zune HD is better. What takes the cake, though, is the Zune Pass. All the music you can download for just 15 dollars a month. Game. Set. Match.

    Oo. Disagree whole-heartedly.

Iphone wins because... well, it's a phone.

Touch wins because of the Apps, the processing speed, accessibility, and Itunes itself wins because it actually supports artists. Unlike the "Zune Pass," which rips off musicians.

Game Set Match? I think not : P.

I do understand that. I didn't nessecarily mean apple products are not made as well. But there are a lot of things that are a whole lot better but are not as frequently purchased. The average consumer will buy what is cheaper. Sometimes cheaper does make something better. :P

In the long-run, Apple is in fact much more cost effective. The average Apple machine lasts much longer than any PC, comes with everything (I mean OS, iLife, etc), and you can even re-sell it at the end of your use if you play your cards right, sometimes up to $500. Cost really isn't the issue.

Itunes doesn't re-organize because of capitalization... you must have it set by name or CD organization, because letter capitalization has absolutely nothing to do with it.

With Itunes, you just have the song on your computer, the program automatically adds it to the ipod/itouch/iphone/ipod shuffle/ipod nano/ipod mini, and instantly gives it the correct name, song name, and album picture.

And you support artists, get the best customer service there is to offer, access to thousands of apps, greater processing speed, the ability to rent movies from Itunes, fantastic warrantee, and longer life.
