You don't need the find my iPhone app... thats not how it works.
You may have enabled it in Settings - just log in and check. The App is to be able to find a missing iPhone using another iPhone. Basically, its one of them app versions of a website.
No, you can't hack the password, but they can still use it if they restore it in iTunes. However, by doing that they will wipe your data.

why not.. since i lost my iphone.. m using an old Nokia phone lol
There are 3 reasons why everyone I know has a Blackberry:
1) Physical Keyboard
2) BBM
3) Their friends have BBM
I honestly kind of disagree. I (as an iPhone user) see android users like that ONLY if its a shit android phone. The kind of person who goes around saying "Oh yeah, ill Google that for you with my phone", but really the internets slow and their phones slow, and in the end it just doesn't work.
If you have a good android phone, i will still think that you should have got an iPhone if you were spending that much money, but I will see exactly why you wanted android and understand you. For example: my friend has a Google Nexus S - its android and it works very well, so I have no problem with him showing it off. We even team up against BlackBerry users, laughing at them all chatting about BBM, while we were thinking "Come on guys, catch the fuck up".
