yeah lol, the old ipod shuffle diddnt have a button. it had an on/off SWITCH and then you did everything else with the buttons on the headphone cord.

why doesnt somebody just come by and put them out of business? an mp3 player is such an unoriginal idea, its a fucking hard drive with an MP3 program and a GUI. ipods make up for like half of apples profit.

want to take this away from them? make an MP3 player with a simple plug and play drag-and drop interface, no shitty "itunes", "zune" or any third party cluster fuck program. just a simple interface that uses metadata to sort the music (much like winamp library). all it would need is a usb port, charger (wall charger!), I/O switch, volume, a key for up, down, left, right, and "ok", a L-ion battery, TFT screen, and either use a small HDD or solid state memory.

no shitty software, moderate price, simple layout. everybody and their mothers would buy one.

why hasn't this been invented already?!! does this not aggrivate anyone else?!!?

hell, it wouldnt even need a L-ion battery, 2 AA batteries should be fine. solid state memory barely uses any power. and a screen with LED backlights is nothing compared to a spinning disk/laser in a diskman, and they managed to make those run for hours on 2 AA batteries.

Yeah but people are use to ipod's and want them. It's like when people go to the store do you buy the name brand food or the store brand? Most people buy the name brand. It's a good idea though and I would like to try and do it.
