art
Sorry for the low quality of the pictures but my scanner is at my parents house.
Anyway here's some of my sketches.
By the way if you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Feel free to comment and whoever gives me the best idea for my next drawing I'll try and draw it for you and I'll post it up on here.

Ok not gonna lie the first thing that went through my mind when I saw you posted that picture was this.
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD SHE FUCKING DREW THAT!?!?!?!?!?! Then I felt stupid because I read your comment and realized its really an amazing picture not a drawing lol. Personally I think its awesome! Can I ask where you took it because it looks like an old part of some city in england or paris or somewhere cool like that.

how long have you been drawing? they seem a little rough...but if you like drawing keep it up and your art skills will improve! i wish i would have continued my passion with drawing that i had when i was younger.
I've only been really drawing for about a year or so now. But I took the advice of some friends and I'm taking my first real art class right now. Thing is that it's all abstract drawings so it's not as fun as it could be but hey it should help a bit.
i like it, i think rough drawings are better than the polished ones. it means(to me) that you put more thought into the drawing than your current ability and imagination and thought is always what pulls you to greater heights and better results. if you can draw something perfect and polished, it was too easy.
I like the way you explained away my rough drawings lol. Truth is I'm not good enough to make them perfect and and I don't have the patience to sit there and take my time on them most of these are made over the course of two or three hours and then I'm done with them. If i could put more detail in i would but I don't know how to as of yet hopefully I'll get better.
Lol I never really can tell if people are just saying I'm good because they don't want to hurt my feelings or something. I feel like these comments are going to be much more honest on here. Though I do wish that I could do some of the stuff street performers do.
you mean like lurk on cold windy nights watching the more fortunate people walk around fantasizing about how warm it would be if you could cut them open and sleep inside their chest cavity? i know right? i wish i could do some of that stuff...
Are you sure your not thinking of homeless bums? I was talking more of the kids that are bored and are really good at the drums and go do stuff and preform or those people in the dance clubs.
You have a good eye for shadows and shape. :) My only advice is to add a little more detail when it come to trees or buildings, otherwise it looks a little cartoonish. And when you have a waterfall, if you're not going for cartoon, don't put a fluffy cloud at the end. ^w^ really good though.
Thank you very much :) I'll try and put more detail in and make it less cartoonish but I still need to learn ho to do that stuff. though my buddy wants to use one of my drawings for his album cover lol.
That's beast! :o
But yeah, it looks really good(: Catoonish isn't BAD, but if you're going to add shading to it, a little less cartoon is always okay.

thanks my personal favorite is the last one but 1,3,4, and 7 are in a close tie for second :D i can't decide between them XD
haha actually that one's incomplete i never got around to finishing it. should probably get around to it but i just never really had the urge to so i kinda just threw it up on here. if i ever get back to it then i'll make sure to post it for you.
lol i would have said it but i like the truth the fact that it's incomplete and that you like it just shows me that it has a lot more potential. chances are i'll just copy it onto another page and redo it that way with some adjustments. i don't like to ruin an already good thing :)
lol i know but now you may get a better looking one hell it might be the best one if i do it right :D
I'll ask for your opinion on my work now! I took this picture using film, and I developed it myself, it's a black and white picture, but to put it on here, I've had to use my camera and make it black and white again in photoshop, because the lighting in my room made it purple.. Dammit. I want to use it in my assignment of 'Environmental Portraiture'... What do you think?
