    aw the joys of youth your parents won't let you have FB or a phone you should take debate then argue with them treat it like a LD debate and they will either reverse it on you or be forced to get you a phone and also arguing doesn't really help.

    Try to explain to them the pros of having a cell phone and a facebook. Like how, if you have a cell phone, when you leave the house they'll have a way to contact you and you'll be able to contact them if there's an emergency. For facebook, I'd say that it'd help keep in touch with your friends and other family. There are a bunch of ways to make your facebook secure from the people your parents don't want looking for you. Don't get into a big fight over it with them, because that'll make it worse. Just keep it in their heads for a while. I hope this helps.

    If this isn't troll them meh, no facebook isn't a bad thing... you'll just get addicted and fail in life, especially if starting later. No phone is stupid though, if anything unsafe. Surely its better for your parents knowing that you are easily contactable when out on the piss (tell them that, maybe not in that way). Also, phone defeats the point of facebook anyways so once again, meh.
