a good bye post
im going to start of this post with this. the reason im leaving sharenator is because of the pic dumps. its not just because i dont like them and there effort less to make. its because there's just some many of them that it's horrible. when i joined this site it was amazing the best thing i had ever been on.(besides getting insulted for my spelling)i loved this site form that start and now i can barely stand to look at it. before everyone would care about everyone people would rant and people would try to cheer them up now its just posting non stop. im fine with one or two pic dumps a day but when it feels like 10 - 20 a week it just sucks. this site to me has become tasteless i barely laugh at anything on here anymore and the community isn't as fun or cool to talk with it just seems like everything on this site as changed and no one cares. i get pic dumps are important because they bring new people to the site but now its gotten out of hand. i really wish i could stay but it seems like sharenator isn't for me anymore. i might check in every once in a while and f the pic dumps stop getting posted so much or stop (but i doubt that would happen) i might return. here are some answers the questions that might get asked "give them a chance." i have gave them plenty of chances none seem to interest me at all. "if you dont like them dont open them." but there's barely anything else open. "if people would post more OC it might stop" its been tried its failed the pic dumps actually grew after words. "dont go" i made my dession and its not going to change unless them pic dumps do. "i couldn't care less if you leave" (or something of the sort) good for you i couldn't care less. "stop complaining." i lost tired of complaining thats why im leaving. dont think that becasue of this post i hate sharenator i dont hate sharenator i hate pic dumps.

maybe for other people but every post i look at doesnt make me laugh think its cool or anything, and to be honest this site just doesnt feel the same
i agree, this site doesnt have the same attitude it used to. i do a lot less talking on here now and more just scrolling through random posts to see if i find anything funny. it will turn around eventually. just have to give it time. so yeah go take a break and check in every once in a while to see how things are going
Agreed, I hardly even open posts these days. Just one or two that catch my eye. It's a shame but I guess it's time for most of us to move on. Good bye bud, maybe one day it will become deserted and us old timers can come back. Have a good life, see ya around the old watering hole every once in awhile.

1. Few of the pictures posted are really funny/memorable
2. I've already seen most of them on Art of trolling, memebase, funnyjunk, etc.
Quality>Quantity. Better to have a post with 5-10 good, non reposted pics than 100 crappy ones.

I made a post complaining about the pic dumps a week or 2 ago but was told to delete it. It used to be Infinity & Litofcas posting pic dumps, Litofcas posting one each day and Infinity every now and again. Now like I said in my post, there are at least 5 or 6 people posting them every day now and they are not great pictures, just random stupid ones that at best would make you smile for a second. I am also fed up of them but I still enjoy looking at a few of them, but I really cannot be bothered to look at all of the 30 or more each week that now get posted.
sorry but this was the stuff i was trying to avoid -.- we have this argument way to often and i didn't want it to come up again. i agree that there are a lot of picdumps but at the same time not all of them are bad i enjoy missrandoms random yet funny posts and the infinite picdumps are always amazing lito has some great ones for backgrounds. but the real problem i feel isn't the number of pic dumps it's the lack of people posting other stuff. people look and only see pic dumps cause no other posts are there to replace them. what is needed is people to stop taking the easy way out and post new content and for people to take an interest in it not ban pic dumps.
yeah but the pic dumps are the ones that get uprated so fast that other ones usually dont have a chance. some people just look at the name of the poster now and decide to look at it. Thats why mine still do decently but i know how some of the people feel

Sharenator has become my website when my wow screen is loading....whcih is only a few seconds at a time. I see why you say this, because its true. This site has pretty much become the epitome of when I type in "cool/funny pics" on google images -.-
I agree that things are getting out of hand but you're a mod you have a bit more pull that I do and leaving takes that pull from those who agree with you. Have you not tried to make the point that they have gotten severely out of hand to Paul or to what seems a lessor extent Darius?
i saw no point in contacting pual or Darius for the simple fact is that there would be a vote on who wanted pic dumps to stay and who wanted them to be gone, and most of sharenator likes picdumps. i dont like picdumps which means that im no longer needed here
Anyone can just get up and leave, but it takes true strength and determination to stay and push forward in the face of what seems to be impossible odds.
well i guess i dont have that true strength it hurts to see sharenator like this, but theres nothing i can do sharenator evolves to become better. and sometimes that means leaving people behind

Bye! too bad you're leaving, but hey you might find a cooler website out there... maybe. I agree sharenator was better in the old days but I can't bring myself to leave it. We'll miss you! and please check in every now and then, sharenator might get better.
Don't understand your problem here, miss/people/thing.
We hate these "Leaving" posts, it's either someones grab for attention or someone complaining about something they don't like on Sharenator. Which is why we tend to avoid posting any responses to them.
