triclebickle - replied 2012-05-28 15:13:34+1I am dividing my armory to go to Montana as we speak.-
24paperwings - replied 2012-05-28 15:22:18+1Going out to grab a machette and a couple axes i'll raid some dead people later on and take their guns. some people just will suck at shooting so there should be plenty of guns around for the first couple weeks lol-
triclebickle - replied 2012-05-28 15:37:20+1but so little ammo.-
24paperwings - replied 2012-05-28 15:48:40+1truuuue (-.-*) ahhh well melee weapons are more fun anyways >:D just find a rifle and the right bullets and you're set. i'd prefer a crossbow anyways to be honest only thing that sucks is the reload time in which case im just going to avoid them anyways. the key is to take them on one at a time any more you hide.-
triclebickle - replied 2012-05-28 15:58:43+1or use a 22 for the majority of the time.-
24paperwings - replied 2012-05-28 16:08:54+122 is a good gun but i prefer to be quiet and not draw attention. rather than announce exactly where i am and draw in about a hundred id rather just take it out and move on where im going. killing them all isn't going to happen so my idea is either 1 make my way to the coast and use a boat (wether becomes a huge and concerning issue along with water and food) or 2 slowly gather people together in a small encampment with already strong walls (no way for them to get in but leads to the problem of them gathering around us leading to food and water shortages) the only other option is to keep moving which while allowing you to scavenge leads to the danger of unknown areas and getting lost easily. best option at the start i would say is to keep moving. getting trapped in the chaos that follows when a military post falls seems to be much worse than just avoiding large populations from the start.-
triclebickle - replied 2012-05-28 16:29:55+1The noise really isn't that big of a factor with a 22 if it's suppressed I am just going to get up to my cabin in montana meet up with friend and family and live up there cuz it's easy to defend, has fresh water, ranching ability, fishing, and as of recently year round farming, and self sufficient power supply.
