I'm not and I'm not even American, but if you can't have a laugh over something and make light of a bad situation then this is turning into a very depressing world.

here is the thing - I hate that we rape this planet and use every resource without any thought or concern of possible consequence to the coming generations. This spill sucks , but JESUS - LAUGH a little and loosen up. If someone is that mad about the spill , then fucking do something about it - go knock on some doors and make some phone calls, but what purpose is served by logging onto Sharenator and down rating someone who thinks that one of MANY posts about the spill is funny - Are people so self centered that they do not think that other people are allowed to laugh at funny jokes and posts ? If someone thinks that me laughing at the oil spill is inappropriate , they don't know me - I laugh at EVERYTHING that is funny because I enjoy life and love to laugh..... Anyways - thank you Sudoku
That's fair enough, but to be honest not everyone has the same sense of humour which you know, happens. And no it's not right to take it out on one person by downrating them, but at the moment with the amount of downrating going on you just got to take it on the chin and get on with trying to enjoy the rest of the site, heck I've been downrated a bit, I think one of my posts went from +10 to -2, but there's not a lot you can do. Just hope that other people on this site realise what's happening and things get sorted is all..

i agree on this topic i have no sense of humor. i think haveing my town smell like fresh assfault and seeing my shores littered with what looks like shit i loose my sense of humor. so for that i am sorry. but we can no longer get out of our rivers or out bay to get into the gulf due to floating barriers that only work on the top

Look I live near the coast in England, the one most exposed to the West. And yes, if this shit's going to hit Britain, yes I will be pissed, but you need to laugh, yes, even when it's occurring, because otherwise life is going to be really depressing and nothing will get done. There has to be a compromise.
