Hello & Welcome
I thought i'd make this post after my post 'Post your desk' and i got talking to a member of the community about one of the books which could be seen in my photo of my desk. This got me thinking, what is everyone reading?
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
The idea for this post:
1)What is the book called that you are currently reading?
2)What is it about?
3)Review (without any spoilers)
4)Give it a rating? (Out of 5)
5)What book are you going to read next

Here is mine:

Name: Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children
images - What You Reading - Community Post.

About: A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. And a strange collection of very curious photographs. It all waits to be discovered in "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children", an unforgettable novel that mixes fiction and photography in a thrilling reading experience. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

Review: A really well written, presented book. The photo's which go along side the story are really interesting/creepy.

Rating: 5/5

Be prepared to be slightly disappointed in the last book. Eldest and Brinsigr were the best.
At the end of the Inheritance I was just sitting there thinking to myself "What the hell? That's it?!! God Dammit.."

I just finished Little Brother by Cory Doctorow

It is a fictional story set in Bay Area and follows seventeen year old tech-geek, Marcus Yallow's, journey after the Bay Bridge and BART is blown up by terrorists.

I really loved this book even though it targeted at a younger audience. It was an eye opener.

Rating: 5 - Good writer, the book pulls you in.

I don't know what book I'm reading next. I'm in a book club and we haven't chosen our new book yet.

"From Zero to Sixty on Hedge Funds and Private Equity 2.0: What They Do, How They Do It, and Why They Do The Mysterious Things They Do".

Learning about the world of finance, from the perspective of investors. Just in case we need to raise money for Sharenator after launching v2.

The book explains how funds work and it does a very good job, so I'll give it 5/5.

    P. S. Anyone using Kindle?

Currently reading A Game of Thrones, absolutely brilliant book. Now, before you go on about me only reading it because of the tv series, that's wrong. I actually first found out about the books/tv series through all these "brace yourself" memes, as sad as that is, then when a couple of my mates started reading the books and watching the series, I decided to try a sample of the first book, loved it, decided to download the entire first season of the tv show, watch all of them in the space of a single weekend and now i'm working my way through the book properly, impatiently waiting for season 2 to come out in april. I don't really know what i'll be reading next but i'd naturally assume it'll be the next book in the series.

I'm currently reading "A Game of Thrones" by George R.R. Martin. If you don't know what it's about, where the hell have you been the past year?

So far (about halfway done) it's fantastic. The story drags a bit, but it's mainly about the characters, which are done wonderfully. My only real complaint would be Martin's tendency to be repetitive.

    4.5 out of 5

The second book is amazing. The first didn't have much going on, mostly was to set up the gigantic story line of the series.
