Given That:
0 x 1 = 0 (expression a)
0 x 2 = 0 (expression b)
Then surely:
a = b
0 x 1 = 0 x 2
And dividing a number by itself is always equal to 1...
0 x 1 = 0/0 x 1 (expression a)
0 x 2 = 0/0 x 2 (expression b)
Which is the same as:
1 x 1 (expression a)
1 x 2 (expression a)
Which means...
1 x 1 = a = 1
1 x 2 = b = 2
Therefore:
a = b
1 = 2
0 x 1 = 0 x 2
youre supposed to keep those in parentheses
a = b
(0 x 1) = (0 x 2)
now that next step is impossible.
