I like to pretend that The Matrix was not a trilogy and ended with Neo giving his speech on the phone and then flying off.

luckily.... they didn't include 1, 2, or 3 in that part... otherwise Star Wars would have the worst rating.

Oh, don't even start. Star Wars is awesome all the way through. Every episode, every comic book, every novel, every action figure.

Very accurate. But Star Wars episodes 1, 2, & 3 sucked compared to the originals.

As a Star Wars fan, I love them all, but yes, the originals were the best.

nah the first and second ones were pretty cool because in the first one which you probably saw at like 8 years old had a guy that looked like this:
    Star Wars darth maul 2

and then you went: holy shit! this guy looks badass.

But Lord of The Rings right next to Star Wars.

Well yes I was around the age of 7 or 8 when that movie came out and all I noticed was the special effects and I thought they were amazing but now that I am older I have found that episodes 1, 2, and 3 were almost horrible compared to the originals. They just didn't have the magic that the old ones did.

The only thing I liked about the first and second one's were the story line and Episode 1's music.

I didn't care for 1, 2 and 3 either. The acting had alot to do with it. (As well as an annoying pink and orange thing with wierd floppy ears and an annoying voice who's name I won't mention.) But the main reason I didn't like them was the CGI. The origional trilogy's special effects were all "organic". In other words, everything on screen was a physical object. (example: Yoda is a puppet, rather than computer generated.) I think it tends to ruin the experience when you realize "Oh, they just did everything on a computer" after you've seen the first trilogy. (Please don't get me started on the CG scenes added to the new DVD's as well as the whole "Greedo shoots first" thing.)

But Lord of The Rings trilogy FTW! To me it had great music and a great storyline that could be compared to Star Wars.

*insert nasally annoying geeky voice* The Fellowship of the Ring movie didn't have Tom Bombadil, so it sucks!

Seriously though, yeah they were epic.
