Top 5 Video Game Heroes and Villains of 2000 Decade.
This actually took me a long time to make. Simply because I didn't wanna pick the REALLY simple ones like..Kratos, Master Chief, The Covenant, etc. These are in no specific order. And these are simply ones from games that I have played in the 2000 decade. I thought this would be a fun post, so here it goes.
Warning: If you have not played any of these games, some of the villains may come as somewhat of a spoiler.
Heroes:
1. The Hero from the Fable series.
Reason: The awesome customization that comes from the gamer's choice.
2. Auron from Final Fantasy 10.
Reason: He makes a promise to a friend, and sticks to it..no matter the cost.
3. Ratchet and Clank
Reason: They have badass weapons and gear. Plain and simple.
4. Carl Johnson from GTA: San Andreas
Reason: He keeps his homies at heart and doesn't let anybody f**k with him.
5. Toan from Dark Cloud.
Reason: He was put in charge of completing a HUGE task, and pulled it off without flaw.
Villians:
1. Seymour Guado from Final Fantasy 10.
Reason: He was a sadistic being set on destruction and power. Plus his haircut scared me.
2. General Shepherd from Modern Warfare 2
Reason: He was just a straight up dick and ends up killing everybody's favorite character towards the end.
3. The Prophets from Halo
Reason: Nobody liked them, haha. They were evil tricksters.
4. The Darkness or Crawler from Fable 3
Reason: A being bent on destruction for no rhyme or reason, just wanted to see Albion burn.
5. Darth Malak from Star Wars: KOTOR
Reason: He was an evil sith lord who (again like most baddies) is bent on power and domination.
Well guys that was my top 5, please feel free to give me your top 5 heroes and villians of the 2000 decade in the comments. and if I get enough points from this I'll make another list.

A few things:
The crawler from fable was a joke. One of the most disappointing boss fights in recent memory. If you want a fable baddie, go with Jack of Blades. He was a BAMF by comparison.
Where is Commander Shepard?
Even if you didn't want to throw the chief in, I think Noble 6 deserves a spot.
Captain Price, the best wing man you could ask for...and he's not here.

Commander Shepard: Never played Mass Effect so I wouldn't know.
Noble 6: I played Halo Reach for about a day then took it back.
Captain Price: There were so many different "heroes" in MW2 I couldn't even tell you which one he was, also, i didn't play MW1

you included the prophets as villians.. but jack of blades?!?! He murderd your dad, enslaved your mother, stabbed your sisters eyes out and turned you master against you. Prophets sat in floaty chairs.

Truthfully i can think of alot of heros... but one stands out to me alot... and im probally going to get laughed at but... hes Lucas from Mother 3. he lost his mother at 9 years old and his twin brother the next day. 3 years later he has to leave home and fight countless enemies only to find out the one he needs to stop is his twin brother...
I think i would have put Cloud from final fantasy the dude was badass.

The three sith lords in KoTOR 2 are pretty badass villians.
I hope you don't get mad, but i think i am going to make one of these on a scale of 10. it will go from 10-1 in order of the good heroes to the best heroes. and same for villans, this is a good post don't get me wrong, but it didn't tickle my fancy, i hope you know when i make the post i am not copying your idea, i am using it to fit my needs, plus i will give you 50% credit.
