Haha, I like the way you put it...'what country from America?' Because I agree, there are many countries of America, as you note. And yes, I'm a citizen of the United States of America, but in my (limited) travels outside my country, but within America, no one else calls themselves Americans. I remember having a conversation with a woman in Lima after she asked if I was an American, and I was like 'we are both Americans, I'm north american, you south american.' She laughed and then tried to sell me some shit. haha
        Great post BTW

they are not talking shit, they are talking about this shit. By this shit I mean war like it is the greatest thing on earth.
When I was in the US as a exchange student someone came to my home and asked if I love this country, and if I love it I should fight for it to protect it in the army, if I wanted to be a real hero I had to join the army.
And this is what I mean by shit, like killing people is such a heroic thing.

Who said its the greatest thing on earth? So your oppinion is based on what one person told you? Why would you not consider members of the military heroic? Please define heroic in your own words. Please try and keep the profanity to a minimum and say what you mean and not shit. That will helm me and others understand your points better. I would love to know who you think has the strongest armed forces and why?

the song hero of war from rise against, pretty much shows why I think war is bullshit, there is also a documentary where soldiers speak up and how they not feel like a hero. My grandfather was in world war II and he never slept, never, whenever he fell asleep he woke up screaming.
That is why war is bullshit.
And I dont think that attacking a country really helps so much defending your own country. It is like saying well someone slapped your face, go and kill him so he can never slap you again, and kill his family just to be save.

None the less for giving up so much for his country your grand father is a hero. To me a hero is some one who risk their life so that others may live. Police, fire fighters and the military all meet that qualification.

It is not the only person, like 90% were all hyped up about war and the army and so on.
Well heroic is when you help other people, when you save lifes, like firefighters.
You dont get my point, nobody else on the world except for US citizen care who the fucking strongest army is. I dont care, nobody cares, except for war loving idiots.

That is completely false. I am a U.S. citizen and 90% of us most certainly are not war-mongering buffoons. I actually don't know a single person that really wants our country to be fighting in any wars or have troops overseas anywhere.

It would seem you confuse pride for a military with warmongering, they are very different. A fact is a fact, if you care about it or not does not make it more or less true. As a 3rd generation jarhead (us marine corps) I am very proud of what my family has done for the US (lost 3 in WWII and 2 in Vietnam) and what my brothers and sisters of the marines still do today. We fight for each other, we fight for family, we fight for country. No one fight for war.

PS, I don't think it wise to claim you speak for everyone in the world.

hm, this video was weird in that it gave 1 second to read about 10 facts, and then 10 seconds of showing me what a boat looked like :P
btw, 7.51, how would that be useful in a war? It doesn't appear to have any guns/anything it could use to either attack or deffend

Well it's built for stealth, but I would imagine that it has some weapons, just concealed like most other things

It's an IX 529 Sea Shadow, a prototype Stealth Ship developed for the United States Navy. If we remember correctly it's main goal was originally along the lines of a scout ship for the larger non-stealth navy fleets. There was only one ever produced, and it's currently being dismantled after failing to be auctioned off.

I was surprised not to see Pakistan on the list.

And also Australia of course, with our military might of 1,500 individuals in Afghanistan and our 640 in East Timor! Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi! I joke I joke. Gallipoli was enough casualties for us for a long time, I'm proud of our lack of involvement in this kinda shit.

Not sure why you were downrated for that comment so here is a +1.
That being said while America is not perfect we do try to help the world be a better place. If what we do is helping the world be a better place is helping is up to debate, but the intent to help the world to be a better place is not. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
