Man, i hate that. Im unlucky though, mine is a big Fuckin pop up that stops everything your doing and bugs you until you click out. Back when i played Wow, i was literally kicked out of the game becuase the pop up closed it down... damn norton

I have avast too and I love it. It just says, "virus database has been updated!" every day or so. But other than that it leaves you alone.

the best free Internet Security i have found is COMODO Internet Security. Its free for personal, noncommerial use. Its AntiVirus, Anti Spyware and Personal Firewall in one. Its completely free, easy to use, actually looks good and well laid out, and unlike most free programs...

    it NEVER....
    EVER

    EVER

    EVER

    EVER
asks you to buy it. Really. It NEVER begs you to buy ANYTHING.

There IS a pro version, but as long as i have used it, it NEVER asked me or told me "You get enhanced blah!sAfe+ protection when you get pro!"
(yes blah!sAfe+ was made up for your amusement.)

I completely agree. I want to kill Norton. Not only does mine not work anymore, it still gives me pop ups. I get 3 whenever I turn it on, and a few more while I have it on.
