        Yeah, the goalkeeper went for the player not the ball, and in the process fouled the player, thus denying a goal scoring opportunity, that and because he was the last man. That's a red card.

            It was a goal scoring opportunity, he was clear on goal and had beaten all the defenders. If the goalkeeper hadn't brought him down he would've scored because he would've beaten the goalkeeper.

                Fine, I'll rephrase, any decent and not completely retarded striker, wouldn't miss the open goal, therefore, goal scoring opportunity ;)

                If he hadn't tried to get fancy by flicking it in with his left foot, he'd have had that XD

                    I think it's at the referee's discretion tbh, I mean, come on, if the goalkeeper hadn't brought him down, then he's at the right angle to score, it's not like it was an incredibly tight angle where there's a high chance he'd miss. But the ref has to give the player the benefit of the doubt, and I'd say that's a red card.
