basically the donkey is meant to be puling that cart, and the cart is heavier than him, so he is lifted up in the air
like a see-saw, the donkey would be lifted up because he's lighter than the cart
^^^bad explanation but didn't think it was that complicated :L

I understand the physics of it, but not the correlation between a suspended donkey and hard work.
