Imagine what is beyond the universe. There's no way that it stops there. It would be kind of a bummer to travel THAT far just to hit a blank wall of absolutely nothing at the edge of the universe. The universe is also expanding at an exponential rate, so you'd need a pretty damn fast ship to actually make it to the end of the universe.

Awesome! I think most of us, if not all, can tell that a fair amount of work, thought, and research was put into this.
WOW SUPER FAVORITED!!! now what we have to remeber is that the 14 billion light years of the "seeable" universe is only a small fraction of the Omniverse ( i prefer to call it the omniverse, as this helps people undertand that what we call the universe is only the "seeable" part). so we only "see" 14 billion light years in the past and anything that exists that far out (say on the edge of our 14 BLY range) can most likely see back to us and to another 14 BLY on its other "sides". hmmm, so infinite veiws upon infinite veiws.
