The Random Post
I decided to test the random post. From what i noticed, it s only random POPULAR posts... rarely low profile post. I would like to see it to be very random instead of going to popular posts only. Make it more fun and random!

I've been browsing the archives here at work on between calls, there is some stuff in there that's ten times better than some of the featured stuff. Guess it all depends on whether or not we're lazy enough to not vote.
Thats what the voting function is for. You may think something is awesome, but others may not. Thats why you vote for it. The more votes it gets, better noticed it gets. More votes=more popularity, thus meaning it gets featured.
Yes, voting is social thing and everybody who votes helps to sort/aggregate content for other people and voting also helps people to learn what content is popular in this society and what is not. From now on we don't have featured posts anymore, we changed them to filtered posts and votes is our main filtering argument. So from now on website hopefully will be much more active.
Well, what ever happened to the Misc and Chat buttons? And that error where you can't view anyones profile on Sharenator Original still exists...
You can still find Misc and Chat categories, just click on Board link. Actually, front page is now what "View all new posts" used to be (the only difference is that post has to have at least 6 points to be seen there), so you will still find Chit-Chat posts on the front page.

We're still working on algorithm. Every suggestion is welcome :)
When you start clicking RANDOM POST button for the first time, it will bring you to the most popular posts you haven't voted for yet. After a few clicks you should get some less popular posts.
Putting low profile posts in the mix is a good idea, we will work on that.
