The Console Debate
So. Everyone seems to have their own opinion (note the word OPINION!) on what console is superior.
Generally I'm a more PC gamer but having both an Xbox and a PS3, I personally prefer the PS3 on the basis of not having to pay for online play, having a better controller for my playing style, and my PS3 doesn't constantly break on me. However, I know it's more expensive and has less games.
So, what do you guys prefer, the Xbox or PS3?
Or for those being awkward do you like neither and like playing the Wii? :)

I have all four Wii, 360, PS3 and PC (not being smug just old enough to have collected them)
I prefer the PS3 for a number of reasons
1. Less whining/singing little bitches! (major point)
2. Better controller
3. Free online
4. Blu-Ray player
5. Less breakdowns
6. All my mates have traded their 360's in for PS3's

I have an alienware m15x (most beastliest gaming laptop in da world!!!)
A ps3, a wii and I'm getting an xbox for christmas. All but the wii are hooked up to my full hd asus monitor. The only reason im even getting an xbox is because al of my retarded school friends have one. The ps3 has superior hardware, a better store, free online play and BETTER exclusives. The only reason I would get an xbox for game reasons is halo and l4d2 co op which I prefer on console. Crisis 2 is coming out on everything anyway, and we'll see how the xbox can handle a game that demanding

Well I don't play FPS games on a console (aiming's to slow to my mind) and if I could I'd get rid of the Xbox, but my little brother swears by it. I only really use the consoles to play games like Assassins Creed I and II (which by the way I'd recommend to everyone!)
But I'm planning to get a Laptop in January, anyone know a cheapish one (under 400 pounds preferably) which will let me play games to a decent standard, on the off chance?

I prefer the PC to Console games, its where I got my start playing games.
I dig the unlimited content for almost any PC game out, there are new mods being made for games constantly on the PC, and best of all, most of it is free! I have an Xbox 360, and a Wii, but they mainly collect dust at the moment.

Im a ps3 person, I just think the controller is less confusing and I've grown up with the PlayStation all my life :)

Better Graphics? i would like to disagree there. Halo is an ok game but not a great game. i have played and beat them all. it is a fun single player but the online is too arcadie for my taste. the best online shooter at the moment is MAG. bar none.
Personally i prefer the Xbox 360... Dunno why i just prefer the selection of great games, the shape of the controller and the look of the console itself, its sleek and smooth :)
what about the good old ps2 I still have my first one and it's still not brocken.
i have all of them as well the wii is crap so i sold it. the ps3 is ok the main reason i had it was for little big planet. and to watch blue ray free online is not that big of a deal because i dont know if it was just my connection but it took forever. xbox hasway better compettion and halo is just plain fun. i like the xbox exclusives more then the ps3 exclusives. so ill have to give it to xbox 360. i dont have a good pc so i cant give a opinion on that.

I have them all as well, which is why I asked, but I do all my gaming, bar things like Assassin's Creed on the PC. But as I mentioned I rank the PS3 above xBox, just because it seems alot more chilled out with less people screaming at each other in their 12 year old pre-pubescent voices. Although, PC just canes them all :D
i have no response to pc because i have never realy played a game on the pc besides stronghold. but the cool thing about the xbox360 if u dont like hearing little kids is u can mute them :) it makes the online experience 10x better :) that or just stay in a private chat with friends or a party depending on the game you are playing.
i started with a PS1. i bought the 360 before the ps3 game out so i wasnt going to spend 700 dollars to buy another console. personally i think the 360 is better just because of the games. an amazing console is pointless without good games to play on it. the ps3's hardware/software is definitely superior to the 360, but it doesnt count for everything. so if the 2 combined that would be an amazing system
