Terraria strategy help
So I recently got back into terraria and defeated the wall of flesh not the issue, the issue is I have no idea how to get rid of the corruption now. I have an elevated ark type environment with all the biomes (excluding corruption and hallow), but I want to get rid of the corruption before the hallow.
I not only want ideas but I want ideas to be built onto to be made better. So what are your ideas? Mine was to get rid of the sand and rock using purification powder and or explosives, and use purification powder along with hallowed seeds get rid of surface corruption.
I also have a few other questions that I need answering.
Can you create an ocean biome?
How large do biomes need to be to spawn mobs?
what is the best way to get rid of the hallow without turning it into corruption?

Speaking of Biomes, I managed to completely drain the ocean on one of my maps in an attempt to flood hell feelsgoodman.jpg
Never really started to clear out corruption but planting down hallow seeds clears it somewhat
powder I tried but it just grew back
Hard mode gave me the shits to start with but once I got my angel wings and full Adamantite gear its gg :P
