oh sorry man i wasnt paying out the people who do that i just dont think its of any benefit if you do as long as you have saved ur work and closed down any prgrams that are running off the device it really shouldnt matter i only do it for extremely important school stuff just for my own piece of mind but yeah not paying out anyone who does it sorry i made it sound that way
you have to safely remove hardware first. the computer is running a program inside your flash drive, sending it data like a ram card. if you just pull it out, data could be damaged or your flash drive might get corrupted and youll have to reformat it. my friend spend 200 dollars on a 2tb external hard drive and never safely removed it. it broke in a month
haha, if you use mac, it actually tells you off for doing that... look:
But to be fair, its easier to eject than on windows:

"delete shortcut"
"program uninstalled" fucking epic
"program uninstalled" fucking epic
cuz windows will totally give a fuck about your error reports rite?
i hate watching people use a PC. i fix computers for a living.
MOST PEOPLE DO THIS:
single click files/shortcuts/etc...
wait...
wonder why it didnt open.
single click again.
then get frustrated and start clicking alot...
"oh man, it took forever to open"..
then i try to help in the next window "you have to double click"
they try...
and click inaccurately and make a copy of the file...
then i tell them to delete the duplicate file...
they single click on it... and i say "right click on it" and they double right click on it... and accidentally click the "open" command.
then they say "oh, there it goes, it opened", perfectly happy having no idea what they just did.
why do i even bother...
