Press "Print Screen", its top-right of the main keys, above the "Delete" button somewhere (not backspace).
Go into MSPaint or another image editor...
Edit>Paste (or Ctrl+V like a boss)

Screenshot in Mac..
Press command+shift+3 to take an entire screenshot.
Press command+shift+4 to make a custom clipping (cursor turns to crosshairs. Drag a rectangle over what you want to shoot.
Your file is autosaved to desktop.
(Mac Tip... the shots are saved as PNG's. Open them with Preview and File>Save As and change to jpg to save huge file space)

Screenshot in Linux...
Depends on the Desktop enviroment (Gnome/KDE etc) so im not going into detail. Sorry.

And the Video Screen Recording!

Windows: Get HYPERCAM. Its FREE, although there is a small watermark if you dont get the full version. Better than camera anyway.

Mac: Use QUICKTIME. Start Applications>Quicktime. Go File>New Screen Recording. This records the entire screen and from the MIC ONLY. This will capture audio from your speakers too.

Linux:There is a screen recorder but i never found a decent one. i'd like to know of one if anyone knows.
