Oh, yes. Let's do that. Let's go back in time and not help during WWII. Let's pull out of Haiti too. Hell, they can all just die since it's not America. YES, AMERICA IS THE BEST THE REST OF YOU CAN DIE!

I hope you understood my sarcasm.

Decorum please gentlemen, decorum! All who offer dissenting opinions are not idiots or ignorant f#@8s. In regards to the political cartoon I would have this to say:
There are lies, damn lies, and statistics. If this truly is a comparison of the TOP (my emphasis) tax rates then that affects very few Americans as most of us don't pay anywhere near that. My wife's and my combined salaries for the 2009 tax year was well into the six figures and our tax rate? 16%! A pittance for the opportunity to live in the country that holds liberty dearest and no, I'm not some brainwashed U.S. citizen, I'm Canadian and I'm glad to be here. Now, getting back to Obama, taxes aside, he is a very unpopular President now not so much for his Socialist bent but for two very important impressions he leaves on the citizens of the United States:

    1) He truly doesn't get what it means to be an American. His life experience and his long time association with ACORN and crooked Chicago politics has left him unable to grasp the down home ideals of the vast majority of Americans. We are foreign to him.

    2) President Obama truly leaves the impression that he doesn't much like America. Americans love America and they love Americans who love America. That is another concept that is foreign to President Obama. The world may still adore him, although I hear news reports from France and Germany that the bloom is off the rose, but here in the U.S. he will end up a one term wonder as the back-room Democrats do all in their power to ensure he doesn't lead them in the next election.
In the mean time, try to respect each other's opinions whether you agree with it or not. As a conservative I may not agree with what a person espouses, but I'll fight to the death for that person's right to say it.

....Um...i resent the implication that American's as a whole are idiots. Yes, we do love our fucking, but not all of us are retarded. I wouldn't go so far as to say that the majority of the people in America are idiots. Just saying. Think before you speak, if you would. btw, +2

okay I'm American and i look at this graph and think its nice to see the information. When you say all Americans you're a little off target most the people on here probally failed out of school and have no life so they make some arguments on people they don't even know there is plenty of Americans that would see this as it is and realize how were living right now. +2 by the way :)

"US interests in Haiti are keeping everyone in the US backyard in line. the US has sent in troops, the last time in 2004 so they could help oust the democratically elected Jean- Bertrand Aristide from the presidency of Haiti and install their preferred tyrant. US troops are back in Haiti, and control the airport as well as the streets of the capital, Port-au-Prince, in the aftermath of the January 12 earthquake. the devastating loss of life and the destruction the January 12 earthquake unleashed on tortured Haiti was not by nature's hand alone. Haiti's status is the poorest country in the Western hemisphere. the US its nearly two centuries of intervention having kept that country in desperate poverty under the rule of a succession of thieves, murderers, and scoundrels."

The US isn't high and mighty as most see it. It's mostly always the opposite. Here is the article I am referring to.

First of all, Obama's approval ratings are at about 45% right now, which is fantastic with such a strong, current party divide.

Secondly, Obama has done nothing to suggest he doesn't get what it means to be an American. Are you saying because he is an intellectual we can't identify with him? Meet the smart Americans, those who value intellectual prowess over a "down-home" folksy attitude. And he was never involved in crooked Chicago politics, and has no negative ACORN association.

FInally, what do you mean he doesn't like America?! He is the President of the United States. I would wager all that I have that he cares more about America than you or I ever could. I'm sorry, but I must leave decorum by the wayside when you seriously suggest that a President does not love America. So: that was fucking stupid.

Yes, people are way to critical of Obama. Don't judge until his term is over.

Fuck you guys I'm moving to Canada. There's peace, marijuana, and people with an IQ larger than the number they wear on their sport jerseys.
