Suggestion to improve Slideshow Feature
I love the slideshow feature, its so awesome. But quite a lot, I accidentally move to the next post before rating.
Could you maybe make a little "Alert" window of some sort saying "You havent rated this yet! Continue?" or something similar.
Please don't make a standard "alert("Are you sure you want to leave?");" because they are annoying and crap.
Little suggestion on how to make:
Make a JavaScript Function to check (using Ajax) if you have already rated this post. If yes, then just move on to the next page. If not rated at all, then show an overlay (have a hidden overlay which can be shown via HTML DOM/getElementById). This should ask if you want to continue without rating, with the same rating bar shown on the overlay (make it foolproof so you cant rate twice, but i assume you already did that since previously rated posts already show my rating on them).
The overlay could be like that login window, which appears ontop of the site without navigating away.

I agree, I do that all the time. Maybe the 'next post' button could go bright red or the space just above the post changes colour?
Will, you would be a good web architect. You think everything through really well, it shows every time you post/send a feature suggestion.
I'd love to see this feature implemented soon. Sometimes I get tricked by the Next button too. Yeah, it can be annoying.

Dude I think you're my brother. I hate - well "hate" is a strong word. I think dislike is better suited. Ok, so I dislike the slideshow for this matter, I always move on to the next post without rating & it makes me feel bad that I don't give credit where it should be given.
I didn't have a clue how to go about & make an alert system & whenever I e-mail Paul or Darius they don't seem to get back to me =(

well if you arent registered, you cant rate anyway so it wouldnt show unless logged in.
