Suggestion: Limit number of New Post
Most entertaining information on this website comes from people who take time to make their posts. Then you have people who spam this website with Batteries for sale or Flash Games. They don't even bother adding a thumbnail image or a description.
Most people probably don't even notice this. But, I constantly go to the "New unrated posts" section and have to skip 2-3 pages at a time of this crap, to find the new entertaining stuff.
Put a 3-5 minute time limit between adding new posts and you will prevent all of this spam, while encouraging people taking an extra minute or two to make sure their posts is worth posting.
Of course, like all of my other posts, this will never see the first 10 pages under "Home" and will probably receive 1-2 comments before being banished.

Ensx posts tons of games to the site to attract people from everywhere, the more variety on the site, the more Sharenator pops up on search engines.
so your cool with loads of rubbish being posted just to get more people. games that get 0 views or ratings dont attract people. thats like saying the adverts for laser jet printers or some other spam post bring more people. and to be fair i dont think he thinks "i hope this helps the site when i put it on", he probably thinks "fuck yeah my score went up!"
Actually, you don't know what he thinks, there was a post a long time ago probably before you joined, when either Paul or Darius says he posts that many games for the purpose of bringing more traffic to the site.
Take a number and wait in line to post? How about limit 3 post per person per day? or 5?
The problem with limiting the number of posts per day is that you stifle people's use of the page. When someone has something interesting to post and entertaining, they should be able to. But how often do you find more than one thing in a few minutes, unless you are just copying everything from another website like failblog.
Just putting a 5 minute timer will prevent spammers from doing their job, and discourage them from ever coming back.
As for the flash games, that is what I saw today. Someone just posted 3 pages of flash games in the same few minutes.
