It's topologically impossible to do in 2D without cheating. i.e. right clicking so you can go over houses and lines.

why make a puzzle that cant be solved?

I remember this as a kid. The trick was to fold the corner of the paper so you could draw your last line.

The idea was that you had to think "outside of the box" in order to solve it.

I had to look up how to solve it.

Solved it. The old trick to do it was to fold the paper and connect them that way. On this, typically the same concept.
