Well i think it would be best to sort posts by date in chit chat rather than by points, because usually if you chat you have to look whos the last poster and if you dont know whos he its hard to chat :)

Posts are sorted by last response there, you can also choose to sort by topic creation date.

Or do you mean "Hot posts" box in the right side?

Yes i mean this category, but you are wrong. Try to give a vote on any reply of the topic then refresh browser and you'll notice that the post went up :) Posts are stored by vote count there ;)

Oh you mean posts in topics. Yeah, that's true - 'better' post are in the top, but you can have separate threads by replying to the comments.
