Sharenator feature request
I have an idea.. You know how when you submit to digg there backend will search through previously posted items and see if there is duplicate content, well I think something like that should be integrated into sharenator.
So when you submit a post it will search for any duplicates and show a warning.
I see that there is already a few things that have been duplicated here already and can only see it getting worse as it gets more popular. I know that users should search before they post, but I think the above method would be a lot easyer for the newer members.
just an idea, what does everyone else think?

Agreed. Normally this hasn't been a problem, but with the popularity rising, its going to get worse. However, I'm sure Paul and Darius (the site creators) are very busy, so it may take a while.

We should definitely look at this and find a solution. Our script could check if there's a post with similar headline or text. However, that wouldn't help if, for example, the same picture is posted with a different title.
Yup, our to-do list is big. We're about to launch Sharenator Original (a site for original content created by Sharenator members for this site exclusively) and start promoting Sharenator. February is going to be quite busy for us.
We still have a lot of bugs to fix and new features may take a while to implement so I can't promise when this will be done yet.
