What people fail to realize is that both of these parties suck major dick. (sorry for my language but thats the real only way to express how horrible they both are.) Both parties will get us to the same place(bankrupt) but one party will just get us there a bit quicker than another. (Like the difference in smoking filtered vs. non-filtered cigarettes. They are both horrible for you.)
I think you're absolutely right. Either we have the republicans, who pander only to the rich and christian right, while screwing over the middle class (the majority of the country) for taxes, or we have the democrats, who do nothing to oppose it because they're either too cowardly or being paid off by the banks (Goldman Sachs used to be the democratic party's biggest source of donations.) What America needs is a party that will look out for the people, instead of the corporate assholes who currently run the country.

I agree more with the Democrats Tax Plan. While I don't like taxes myself I think those that earn more should be able to pay more. And the people that make the most, over a million dollars a year, are the ones who should pay the most taxes.
While you did work hard for the money you have much more of it. If you end up like a Bill Gates do you really need 40 Billion dollars plus what you make every year? Probably not, I'm sure a billion is still more than enough for the rest of your life.
So yeah, tax the people who make the most money more heavily, because boo hoo if their 36 million dollar a year income is taxed down to 7 million dollars. You still end up with 7 freaken Million dollars A YEAR!

Typical Republicans. Always pandering to the rich. You see, this is why so many republican presidencies end with a deficit. Because they don't tax the people who are actually capable of paying taxes. The people making more than 250000 a year don't even represent a large part of the country (only about 2 percent.)

Is a motor mechanic evil because he takes a lot of money for repairing other peoples cars because they can't do it themselves?
But I am with the republicans here...
But I also think that you can't treat all millionairs the same way... There are actually people who work very hard for their money. My grandpa has very much money. I don't know how many millions. But that is just because he still gets up at 6 in the morning and works till 6-8pm. so thats at least 12 hours of working. Oh and by the way he is 69 years old.
It's okay to take the money from athletes or all the paris hiltons in the world. Because they don't deserve their money. But it would not be fair to take the money away from the hard working ones...

a motor mechanic repairs cars because the cars owner is a woman a bloke fixes own car and you are right because they can afford to pay that much i mean should a millionaire pay $100k for taxes or $6300 when they can blatantly afford to pay that much

that is there cut they still pay a percentage of how much they make so like if they only had to pay 10% they would pay more in taxes then you probly make in a year

Both of you are wrong. The top 1% of americans pay 40% of all income taxes. The top 10% pay 70% of all income taxes. And the top 25% pay 99% of income taxes. The last 1% of americans either pay or don't pay or receive from income taxes.
