    I wonder if it could have an effect on the power grids of the world if the polarity flipped? And would it flip or would it take time?

    from what i remember it will start going over slowly then just boom its on the other side or something as is its slowly shifting away from true north now

    Magnetism controls a hell of alot of things, induction motors use magnetism and without that cars can't start.

    dont know about the birds the just move somewhere warmer for the winter
    for example a bird migrates to north america in the summer because it is warm and when winter comes along they migrate south where at that time of year it is summer
