You disappoint me... Empire here. Sith Warrior
I didn't even realize that it looked like the saint's row logo, I just made that myself in photoshop one day because I was bored. I'll post the picture when I get back home in a few hours.
You have to have a hard wire running to your laptop / computer, then run an update while it is on the hard wire, most likely an RJ45, then it should update itself, no matter if it is a restricted driver or not. That is the easiest way, I had to boot into windows, then download the restricted drivers from ubuntu's website, put them on a flash drive, re-boot into ubuntu, get rootuser, then you have to install them in terminal using either sudo or bash.
Seeing as I have no way of hard wiring my laptop to my desktop, the best way for me to go is by downloading the drivers manually. The only problem I run into, is I have no idea how to find them on the website nor how to install them. Three questions.
Where are the drivers specifically?
How do I setup rootuser?
What command lines do I use in terminal to install them?

This explains everything you need to do to use roothelp.ubuntu.com/community/RootSudo
Another explanation, and a program to use to use windows drivers in ubuntu:help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/Ndiswrapper

that sounds strange to me, because I have a wireless USB adapter, and on Windows its one of the most difficult drivers to find, but on Linux it works out of the box :)

Usually there is an option somewhere in paint that says "crop".
It will let you delete all that white space

You are very welcome. I hope you enjoy it.
excuse me? They use UNIX as a core, and in its own right, it is like a distribution. However, you are allowed to sell linux/unix distro's so there is nothing wrong with it.
PS... why don't you say that about other PAID linux distributions, such as Red Hat Linux... You could arguably take something like ubuntu or centOS and make it work just the same - for free.
What about all of Apple's Open Source projects which make most of linux then?
What about WebKit... the open source project by Apple which without we would not have Google Chrome, and most likely not even HTML5
