my name is Dougie Rives, my mom went to the hospitle yesterday, and had to be airlifted by helicopter b/c somethine in her brain went wrong. i dont know the full story or anything thats really going on right now, i am just 16 years old... but i just wanted to ask everybody to pray for her, she may not make it i need my mom~

you see guys, im only a 16 year old kid, i diddnt think anything could happen like this i wasnt ready for it, i diddnt think it would happen untill i am an adult, i am preparing for the worst. reading everything you guys have posted for me, really makes me happy thank you
Dougie, i am totally praying for your mother. i know the situation, and it DOES hurt. just remember that God cares, even if other ppl tell you otherwise. but the thing required in prayer, the main thing, is FAITH. you cant accomplish anything without faith. remember that, pray, and believe that either God will let you keep her here on earth, or He needs her in heaven a lot more. whatever happens, it is in God's hands and all you have to ask is that His will is done.
BeastMode, I really hope your mum gets better. A few years back my brother was involved in a serious accident which nearly killed him, and I know a mum is different to a brother, but having people giving you and your family support really helps. Just ignore the douche bags like godsp33d and KealtFace, they obviously have no sort of love in their lives which won't get them very far in life.
Remember, you've got most of the Sharenator community praying and hoping your mum gets better, and hopefully that helps, even in just a a small way :) x

I agrea with godsp33d he is right prayer is something you do before a priest rapes u or its so u have to waste 5min of your life thinking about a horrible accident that has happend.. also to the people that say "what would u do if your mom died" i wouldnt talk about it on a site k many people could care less and there is some TROLLS out there that will make you feel worse for even thinking that people care about your issues. also if my mom died i wouldnt care i never see her anyways grow up learn to live without the help from mommy k ur 16 supose to be working and earning to buy a house for when ur 18 or 20 worrying about stuff is a distraction.

If it helps at all, I'll remember to pray for your mother tonight. I don't know how it feels to have to worry about someone so close to me in the way that you do, so I can't even pretend to feel the way you are. I can only hope that what I type out makes you feel a little better, which it probably won't. But anyways, I'll have you and your mother in my thoughts and prayers because that's all that can be done. Please, keep us-or just me, if no one else wants to know-posted on how you and your mom are doing. I wish her the best. <3
I'm wishing your mom well because I know how you feel...I've almost lost my mom numerous times and I'm a weak little 15 yr old girl and I don't know what I'd do without her..So I REALLY hope your mom gets better...So don't lose hope kid :(

This whole post is about praying for this woman, and you're going to say I can't say prayer works? For one thing it does, and for another, this kid needs encouragement now, not your opinion on why prayer isn't going to help his mom. So get over yourself, grow up, and either be supportive or shut up. This isn't a debate post, so don't try and turn it in to one. Try and put yourself in the kid's shoes. How would you like to (assuming you believed in prayer) ask for people to pray for your hospitalized mother, and they come back with why they don't think prayer will do any good?

In that case godsp33d, it wouldn't be a problem or an inconvenience to you at all if your mother died? I would think so. But it's okay, if she dies today, or tommorow, or maybe even 20 years from now, at least it helps population control, right?
