The PlayStation Network will be taken offline for maintenance on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, for approximately 11 hours during the following maintenance window:
Down Time (Start): Wednesday, March 9, 8:00 AM, Pacific Time
Down Time (End): Wednesday, March 9, 7:00 PM, Pacific Time
I know im raging right now but it give me an excuse to roam around sharenator and minecraft!

ok... now you sit here and tell me that Xbox Live is NEVER down for maintenance?
im more pissed off because there is no easy way to cancel a subscription to Live. You have to ring support with security questions etc to cancel auto-renew.
And even though my xbox wasnt even connected to the router for the last 6 months, they said they wont refund me.

exactly. i hate xbox and people who play xbox for the same reason that people hate mac users. Xbox players are always trying to show off saying its better than ps3 for X reason and Y reason, when its crap in loads of ways. Things like, playing most games online (and voice chat) requires GOLD. And even down to the apparently "excellent" graphics, which mostly render at 720p and get up-scaled, and don't have anti-aliasing/multisampling/MSAA enabled. The graphics are not that great, and i always hated directx.
But yeah, that really annoys me. (some) xbox players do the same as (some) mac users. They sit there and purposefully show off, when there are also huge flaws.

I cant remember a time xbox down was down for maintenance. I think it happened once?
more importantly, does he need a reason to browse sharenator?

I'm wondering what there gonnna do about GEOHOT jailbreaking his ps3. They are talking about many things like putting codes on the disc so it can only be used on one system and such. That is going to be a big problem for everyone that has a ps3 soon
