No, this is funny. Haiti has only itself to blame for the extent of the damage. That's what you get when you build your building out of concrete with little to no structural support when you live on a fault line. Yeah, they may be dirt poor but you could at least think ahead. Buildings are investments and should be treated as such, you usually don't invest in something if you want to see it literally crumble to the ground.
It's not like I don't believe in helping people in need but when something goes wrong because of their mistakes I'm not going to do the pity game and play pick up sticks while my own country is already screwing itself over.

They can't build better buildings BECAUSE THEY ARE POOR. Are you suggesting they didn't build structurally sound buildings because they are lazy or something? And it's their fault that so many people died? Therefore we shouldn't help them?
